How to use TAMIM

Step-by-step user guide

1 / 16

Start with your account and baby

Keep each child’s records in the correct profile.

  1. 1

Sign in and complete your profile

Create or sign in to your account, verify your email when requested and complete the profile questions. Choose the language you want to use.

  2. 2

    Register your baby

Add the baby’s name, date of birth and the other details requested by the registration form. Check the immunization schedule country. Optional birth measurements can be added when you have them.

  3. 3

    More than one baby

Add another child from the baby selector or Settings → Babies. Switch to the correct child before entering information; each child has a separate history.

2 / 16

Your baby and today’s rings

Choose the right baby before recording or reviewing activity.

  1. 1

    Switch or add a baby

Use the baby selector in the top bar to switch children. Add another baby from the selector or Settings. Check the name and date of birth before saving a record.

  2. 2

    Read the rings

The home rings summarize recorded activity for the selected baby and local day. Open a ring or its related tracker to see the entries behind the total. Missing records can leave a ring incomplete; a full ring does not confirm medical wellbeing.

  3. 3

    Find Learn and Articles

Learn opens these usage instructions. Articles opens the baby-care reading library. Both are in the application navigation, and Learn is also in your account menu.

3 / 16

Feeding and solid-food records

Record a feed that happened and review the timeline.

  1. 1

    Record a feed

Open Feeding from the home screen. Choose breast or formula feeding and record the actual time. Enter the duration or milk amount required for that type using the units shown on the form.

  2. 2

    Record solids when available

Open the solid-food tracker when it is available for your baby. Record the food, amount and observations offered by the form. A tracker being available is not a recommendation to start a food.

  3. 3

    Review shared entries

Check the timeline before adding another record, especially when another caregiver also logs feeds. Edit an incorrect entry rather than creating a duplicate.

4 / 16

Record sleep

Track an ongoing sleep or a session that has already ended.

  1. 1

    Start and wake

Open Sleep and start an ongoing session when your baby falls asleep. Use Wake when it ends. Review the recorded start and end times.

  2. 2

    Record an earlier session

Choose a finished session and enter its actual start and end times. Correct an existing entry instead of creating a duplicate. Overlapping sleep is counted once, and sessions spanning midnight contribute to each local day.

5 / 16

Diaper records and photos

Record the change and the observations you want to keep.

  1. 1

    Choose the type and time

Open the diaper tracker and choose wet, dirty or both. Check the actual time and complete the relevant fields and notes.

  2. 2

    Optional AI photo review

If AI is available, upload a clear photo using the diaper-photo option and review the result with your observations. If it cannot read the image, take a clearer photo. The analysis does not establish a diagnosis.

  3. 3

    Review the daily history

Check recent changes and correct inaccurate entries. Daily counts reflect what has been recorded, so a missing entry does not establish that a change was missed.

6 / 16

Bath and cleaning

Record the care that actually happened.

  1. 1

    Choose the care activity

Open the appropriate tracker for a bath, face cleaning, nose cleaning, mouth cleaning or ear cleaning. Record the actual time and the details offered by that form.

  2. 2

    Check and correct history

Review the activity history before adding another entry. Edit an incorrect record or remove it through the available controls; the daily totals update from the remaining records.

7 / 16

Measurements and growth charts

Keep dated measurements and review the chart with the relevant record.

  1. 1

    Record a measurement

Open Growth and record the actual measurement date. Enter weight, length/height or head circumference using the displayed units; the measurement form uses grams and centimeters.

  2. 2

    Review the chart

Open the growth chart for the selected child and choose the measurement view. Review dates and trends and check an unexpected point against its original entry. Share questions about the chart with your clinician.

8 / 16

Developmental milestones

Record achievements observed for your child.

  1. 1

    Open milestones

Use the developmental stage card or the Milestones page to see the available observations for your child.

  2. 2

    Record an achievement

Select an achievement when you observe it, check its date and add the details the form offers. Review the history and correct a date or record when needed. The stage overview is a tracking guide, not a diagnosis.

9 / 16

Immunization schedule and history

Review scheduled vaccines and record those actually administered.

  1. 1

    Check the schedule

Open Health → Immunizations for the correct baby. Review the schedule country and planned dates. Check an unexpected schedule with the healthcare professional responsible for your child’s vaccinations.

  2. 2

    Record an administered vaccine

Choose the vaccine and record the actual administration date and the notes requested by the form. Review the saved history; use the available correction controls if an entry is wrong.

  3. 3

    Check reminder settings

Review the due reminders and notification settings. Keep the official vaccination record as well; the app history reflects the information entered into it.

10 / 16

Upload and approve a medicine

Read medicine information from photos without typing or editing its identity.

  1. 1

    Upload the medicine or prescription

Open Health → Medications → Add medication. Upload clear photos of the box, bottle, leaflet or prescription, or a PDF. Upload up to six files together, including two PDFs, with 6 MB per file and 18 MB total. Tap Continue once; medicines on a shared prescription are read separately.

  2. 2

    Review the AI result

AI identifies the brand, ingredient, concentration and route and checks supported official local and international medication sources. Review the read-only result and its sources. If information is missing, upload the requested clearer photo, pediatric leaflet or prescription. An explicit age exclusion blocks adding; a required prescription must be read and matched first.

  3. 3

    Approve and record actual doses

Review the age/weight reference and medicine advice. Prescription dose and frequency appear automatically and remain read-only. Select the ready medicines and confirm the displayed information once to approve saving to your child’s private profile. This does not publish to the shared catalogue or automatically create a dose schedule. A reference range is not a prescribed dose. Use the colored Record dose button only after a dose was actually given; follow the prescribed plan and review the time and amount.

11 / 16

Ask the advisor

Ask with the correct child selected and enough context.

  1. 1

    Write a clear question

Open Advisor when AI is enabled for your account. Describe your question and relevant observations, including recent medical care or advice. Check which baby is selected before sending.

  2. 2

    Review and follow up

Read the answer alongside the observations you supplied. Add missing context or clarify an inaccurate detail in a follow-up. The advisor provides guidance, not a diagnosis or a prescribed treatment; follow the clinician’s instructions.

12 / 16

Share with a caregiver or physician

Choose access intentionally and review who can make changes.

  1. 1

    Invite the right person

Open Sharing for the selected baby and invite the caregiver or physician using their email address. Check the invitation and permissions before sending it.

  2. 2

    Review permissions

Viewing a record and managing medication are separate permissions. A physician with view-only access can read the shared record but cannot approve or change medication. Enable only the actions needed and revoke access when it is no longer required.

  3. 3

    Switch your working view

If you have more than one role, use the view or account menu to open the parent, nanny or physician area. Each area shows the children and actions available to that role.

13 / 16

Account, language and notifications

Manage your account and your children from Settings.

  1. 1

    Manage babies and preferences

Open Settings to manage your profile, children and available preferences. Use the language switcher or account menu for Arabic, English or Spanish.

  2. 2

    Enable available reminders

Review notification settings and allow browser notifications when you want reminders. Check the individual medication or care plan as well. Browser permission alone does not create a plan or its reminders.

14 / 16

Check in on your baby

Include what happened and any care already received.

  1. 1

    Add the full context

Open Check in and complete the observations. In the comment, include relevant changes and whether you already visited a hospital or doctor, with the advice or follow-up you received.

  2. 2

    Review and follow up

Read the assessment and compare it with what you entered. Use the available follow-up or review controls to document care already received or dismiss a reviewed item. If the situation changes, submit a new check-in with the updated context. AI guidance does not replace the clinician’s advice.

15 / 16

Review and correct records

Keep the history accurate so summaries reflect what happened.

  1. 1

    Review before adding

Open the tracker’s history and check the baby, event time and details. When possible, correct the original entry rather than adding a second version of the same event.

  2. 2

Edit, remove or review a correction

Use the edit or remove controls available for your role. Some records retain a correction or void history instead of disappearing. A private medication profile and a dose actually given are separate records; stopping a plan does not erase previous doses.

16 / 16

Contact us and suggest improvements

The floating Contact us button is available when you are signed in.

  1. 1

    Choose a message type

Tap Contact us, then Report a bug, Suggest a feature or Get help. The contact form opens with that category and your account name and email already filled in.

  2. 2

    Describe and send

Add a subject and describe the screen, what you expected and what happened. For a feature request, explain what you want to achieve. Check your contact details and tap Send. Wait for the success confirmation before leaving.

  3. 3

    Find instructions anytime

Use Learn in the navigation or account menu, or the Learn link in the floating contact options. The team receives submitted feedback in its contact inbox.
