Welcome to Tamim
Your comprehensive guide to using Tamim app for tracking your baby's health and growth

Create a New Account
When you first open the app, you'll see the welcome page. Tap "Start Your Journey" then enter your email and a strong password. You can also sign up using your Google account.
Tip: Use an email you check regularly to receive important reminders and alerts.

Complete Your Profile
After registration, you'll be asked to enter your name and select your country. This is important for displaying vaccination schedules specific to your region.
Tip: Selecting the correct country ensures you get the appropriate vaccination schedule for your area.

Register Your First Baby
Enter your baby's information: name, birth date, gender, and optionally add a photo. This information is used to calculate age accurately and display appropriate developmental milestones.
Tip: You can register multiple babies in the same account and switch between them easily.

Main Dashboard
A comprehensive overview of all your baby's activities in one place

Quick Access Icons
At the top of the screen, you'll find quick icons for: Feeding, Sleep, Diapers, Bath, Nose Cleaning. Tap any icon to go directly to that feature.
Tip: Icons are color-coded: blue for feeding, purple for sleep, green for diapers.

Today's Summary
The dashboard shows a summary of today's activities: number of feedings, sleep hours, diaper changes. You can see the last recorded activity and its time.
Tip: Tap any card to see full details and add a new record.

Navigation Menus
At the bottom or side of the screen, you'll find menus to access: Growth, Development, Vaccinations, Medications, AI Advisor, Settings.
Tip: You can customize menu order in settings based on your most frequent usage.

Feeding Tracking
Record every feeding with details whether breastfeeding or formula

Breastfeeding
Select "Breastfeeding" then choose the breast (right/left/both). Use the timer to record duration or enter it manually. You can also specify the feeding method (direct/pumped).
Tip: The app remembers which breast you used last and reminds you to switch for balance.

Formula Feeding
Select "Formula Feeding" and enter the amount in milliliters or ounces. You can choose the formula type from your saved list.
Tip: You can save your preferred formula type in settings for automatic display.

Solid Foods
For babies 6 months and older, you can record solid foods with details: food type, amount, notes about baby's reaction.
Tip: Record any allergies or unusual reactions to share with your doctor.

Tap "Statistics" to see weekly charts showing: number of feedings, total amount, average duration, time distribution.

Sleep Tracking
Monitor your baby's sleep patterns and rest hours

Start Recording Sleep
Tap the sleep icon when your baby falls asleep. You can use the automatic timer or enter the start time manually.
Tip: If you forget to record sleep time, you can enter it later through "Add Past Record".

When your baby wakes up, tap "Stop" to end the recording. The app will automatically calculate the sleep duration.
Tip: You can add notes like: peaceful sleep, frequent waking, crying during sleep.

In the statistics section, view: total daily sleep hours, average nap duration, night sleep quality.

Diaper Tracking
Record diaper changes and monitor digestive health

Tap the diaper icon and choose the type: wet only, dirty, or both. You can add the change time.
Tip: Expect 8-12 diaper changes daily for newborns.

For dirty diapers, you can specify: color (yellow, green, brown), consistency (liquid, soft, solid), amount.
Tip: Changes in color or consistency may indicate health issues - record accurately.

Tap the bath icon and enter: time, duration, water temperature (if available).
Tip: Ideal bath temperature is 37-38°C (98.6-100.4°F).

From the hygiene section, you can record nose cleaning with the method: aspirator, saline drops, tissue.
Tip: Cleaning nose before feeding helps baby breathe and feed better.

Tip: Every child is unique - slight delay in one milestone usually isn't concerning.

Tip: Add photos or videos to document these precious moments.

Sharing with Caregivers
Add relatives, nannies, and doctors for monitoring

Invite a Caregiver
From Settings > Sharing, tap "Invite Caregiver" and enter the email. Choose permissions: view only or view and edit.
Tip: You can invite grandparents to follow the baby's progress.

Add the nanny as a caregiver with "edit" permission so she can record activities while you're away.
Tip: Set working hours for the nanny to receive notifications only during those times.
