Formula Feeding – How to Choose the Right Milk
How do you know if the milk is suitable for your child? - It does not cause severe diarrhea or constipation. - It does not lead to frequent vomiting after most feedings. - It does not result in severe colic or persistent bloating. - The child is gaining weight normally. - The baby feeds relatively calmly and sleeps normally. How to choose the type of milk? - Choose milk that is appropriate for your child's age (number 1, 2, or 3). - Start with regular milk unless otherwise recommended by a doctor. - Use therapeutic milk (such as AR or lactose-free) only when there is a medical reason. - Do not change the type frequently without necessity. Basic rules for safe use: - Adhere to the quantities written on the package. - Use boiled and cooled water. - Sterilize bottles and nipples daily. - Do not heat milk in the microwave. - Discard any leftover milk after one hour of preparation. When do you need to change the type? - When a rash appears or there is blood in the stool. - In cases of severe or persistent vomiting. - Continuous constipation or diarrhea for days. - Poor weight gain.
